We would like to thank the great Krateriotes in Australia, USA, Greece and our own Canadian faction for truly putting the needs of others in the fore front and raising the money necessary to replace the roof on our beloved Saint Nicholas Church in the village of Kratero Florinas. The year was 1960 when a small group of friends, new to Canada decided to create a group where they could host events, fundraise for charities and those in need and ensure that their wonderfully unique heritage remained in tact and in the forefront of everything they did. It was then that the Benevolent Association of Krateron was created..
